It's a Willis!!!

Much to our surprise and delight, we are having a boy! David and I went to the doctor on Friday and watched in amazement, a 30 minuted ultrasound. We got to see all of his major organ systems and I believe that Willis might have my nose. It was so amazing that we were able to see him so clearly.

We wanted to have a little fun with finding out what we were having. So, instead of having the doctor tell us the sex in the office, we had them seal the ultrasound picture up in an envelope. After the doctor, we headed to Babies 'r Us and picked out a set of blue onesies and a set of pink onesies. We handed them to the cashier along with the envelope. Her job was to open up the envelope and see if it had a boy or gilr on it, and wrap the corresponding outfit. In order to make sure we didn't see what color she was wrapping, we walked around while she put together our surprise. We went back to the cashier when we thought enough time had passed and found our surprise wrapped and waiting for us. We paid and left as the cashier begged us to open it. We told her we couldn't and left to go to a nice dinner. Before our meal came we put the envelope and gift on the table. David looked like he was about to pass out because he was really hoping for a boy but really felt like it was going to be a girl. I think I felt that it was going to be a boy, but because David was so certian that it was a girl, I had some doubts. Anyway, we sat at the table and opened our package of blue onesies! I think David almost fell out of his chair! It was an awesome moment!

We are so excited and feel really blessed to be having a son. We now have the daunting task of trying to come up with a name. We actually had a girl name picked out but can't agree on anything for a boy. So, it will be interesting to see what we come up with. We can't wait until "Willis" joins our family and are looking forward to meeting our son!
